What if Captain Carter had been the first Avenger?
For those who haven’t already checked out the animated Marvel series What If…? (which is currently airing weekly on Disney+), this is the premise of its first episode. One seemingly insignificant decision alters the course of events and Peggy Carter gets the super-soldier serum in 1943 instead of Steve Rogers.
Now, fans can preorder a Hot Toys figure inspired by this episode. The 1:6-scale figure features Carter herself, wearing her Captain Carter suit from the episode. It also comes with accessories including the matching shield, her pistol, and her sword.
That figure is available to preorder now from Sideshow for $235, with an expected ship date of January-March 2023.
While they aren’t available to preorder yet, the official images for this detailed figure also feature figures of the Hydra Stomper suit and Steve Rogers as they appear in this episode (it is unclear if these figures will be sold together or separately).
