As the Teen Titans return for a second season on the DC Universe show, Titans, they’ll be joined by a familiar face. Played by Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen, the upcoming season welcomes Bruce Wayne to the Titans crew come the series’ fall premiere, according to Deadline.

Glen is best known for playing the ever-loyal Jorah Mormont in Westeros on the HBO hit series. His other credits include roles on Downton Abbey and the Resident Evil franchise.

For the gritty DC Universe show of superheroes led by Batman’s former sidekick Robin (Brenton Thwaites), Glen will portray an older version of Bruce Wayne. The official character description describes him as: “After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.”

As expected, fans have plenty of thoughts on this DC casting news.
