The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTCG) is expanding once again with the latest card set, Opus XI: Soldier’s Return, now available in time to celebrate the upcoming release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake video game.
The new game uses a “counter” mechanic feature that expands a player’s tactical possibilities and features art from Final Fantasy VII Remake. The set also features original drawings and illustrations from major Final Fantasy artists whose work spans the entire FF catalog.
Other sets in the FFTCG series that tie to the upcoming video game include a two-player starter set featuring core characters Cloud and Sephiroth and a stylish, tin gift set featuring gorgeous artwork of character Tifa Lockhart, just in time for her remake re-debut when the Final Fantasy VII Remake releases on April 10.
