Beauty subscription service Ipsy is launching a line of Betty Boop-inspired cosmetics in collaboration with King Features Syndicate and Betty Boop proprietor Fleischer Studios.
The makeup collection features a line of 13 items, including red lipstick shades in satin, matte, and shimmer; lip gloss; eyeshadow; liquid eyeliner; mascara; and nail polish. The items will all have Betty-approved names, such as “Boop-Oop-A-Doop,” “Hotsy Totsy,” “Drawn to You,” “Blnk and Wink,” and “Little Red Dress.”
Ipsy will include the limited-edition products in an upcoming subscription box, also known as a “Glam Bag.” People can also purchase the items individually on ipsy.com for the entire month of October or until the collection sells out.
