It’s been 44 years since Jaws first debuted, forever making us all at least a little more wary about swimming at the beach. Now, fans of the movie (especially those who prefer to stay indoors and avoid all real sharks) can recreate the classic summer thriller with the new Jaws Board Game from Ravensburger.
The game, which officially drops today, is available exclusively from Target for $29.99. It is a strategy-based game featuring two acts — “Amity Island” and “The Orca” — and a double-sided game board. It pits the shark (one player) against crew members Chief Brody, Quint, and Hopper (all other players), recreating classic scenes from the movie using cards and dice to determine the outcome. For shorter gameplay, players can also choose to play just one act.
