Educators and pupils of fashion unite: JCPenney has dropped a collection of Abbott Elementary-inspired clothing!

Abbott Elementary is a critically acclaimed ABC sitcom centered around an underfunded, predominantly Black elementary school in Philadelphia and the school’s passionate teachers, who strive for the best for their students.

The Abbott-inspired line comprises a staggering 50 pieces, including staples for teachers, educators, and anyone who wants to channel Janine Teagues’ functional-but-fun fashion! The Abbott Elementary collection is meant to be interchangeable yet full of personality, featuring breathable fabrics and vibrant colors throughout.

The result is a treasure trove of pieces that allow individual expression while saving the wearer from discomfort and school dress code violations! And factoring in teachers’ (sometimes criminally low) budgets, nearly all of the pieces cost less than $100, and more than half of the garments are less than $50!

The ad campaign for this collection incorporates real-life educators, too. The models include Barry White, a teacher-turned-principal whose student handshakes went viral, and Mrs. Bo, a mathematics-teaching TikToker from Idaho.

And the proverbial apple on the desk? Until Oct. 8, teachers can get 10% off their purchases when they show their teacher ID (in JCPenney stores only).

And while we know there’s simply nothing elementary about getting dressed, it just got a little easier! Teachers, educators, and sitcom fans can shop JCPenney’s Abbott Elementary collection online and at select stores right now.
