Upper Deck has partnered with Funko to bring a real slam-dunk to your NBA Pop! collection. The new LeBron James Minneapolis Lakers Funko Pop! is part of Upper Deck’s exclusive Collect Forever series and is about 4 inches tall. The vinyl figure features LeBron wearing a retro Minneapolis Lakers jersey from the 1940s-’60s, before the Lakers made the switch to Los Angeles and became the purple-and-gold sensation it is today.
The LeBron James figure is sculpted in a mid-game pose, holding a basketball. The figure’s jersey pairs the team’s throwback blue-and-white colors with James’ No. 6. Each figure is encased within a hard protective case around the Funko Pop! window box. Collectors can choose to transfer the Pop! to Upper Deck’s e-Pack platform to be traded for other physical and digital collectibles such as trading cards, comic books, and more.
The LeBron figure follows the release of the Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls No. 12 Funko Pop!, another Collect Forever item in which Jordan is wearing the red Chicago Bulls No. 12 jersey with no last name — a jersey that he wore only once.
