Yu-Gi-Oh! 2019 Gold Sarcophagus Tin for Trading Card Game

As a master Yu-Gi-Oh! duelist, you can’t just store your sacred trading cards in any old case.

Konami Digital Entertainment (Konami) will release the 2019 Gold Sarcophagus Tin on Friday, April 30 to protect Yu-Gi-Oh! decks from wear and tear.

The company aims to blend efficiency and nostalgia by adding old and new cards in this tin inspired by the Gold Sarcophagus card in Yugi Muto’s deck from the original animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series.

Each gold tin will come with five Prismatic Secret rare variant trading cards, including two of six new cards with art by Yu-Gi-Oh! creator Kazuki Takahashi, two cards out of five from the original animated series, and one of three new World Premiere cards.

The tin’s three mega-packs include popular cards Konami launched last year, including Danger!? Tsuchinoko?!, Knightmare Mermaid, and Called by the Grave. The 16-card mega-packs have 12 common cards, one rare card, one super rare card, one ultra rare card, and one prismatic secret rare card to boost variation in duelists’ decks. The foil cards in these packs will have different rarities from the ones they had in their original 2018 release.

The Gold Sarcophagus tin follows Konami’s launch of the Savage Strike Special Edition, Infinity Chasers, and Speed Duel: Arena of the Lost Souls packs last month and Yu-Gi-Oh! Day last weekend.
