Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) is getting a makeover. The LEGO Group is transforming its booth into San Diego LEGO-Con, a convention totally made out of bricks.
The diorama features more than 200,000 bricks, took more than 1,500 hours to build, and is packed with easter eggs. The diorama also features blank spots for “exhibitor booths.” Fans visiting the booth can build their own booths out of LEGO bricks for the chance to be added to the diorama themselves. Fans who build a booth can snag an exclusive San Diego LEGO-Con badge and guidebook.
The LEGO Side Quest Mobile Scavenger Hunt will have fans running across the show floor completing photo-based tasks and solving riddles. Each day, one participant will win the daily grand prize, and 20 randomly selected participants who complete the scavenger hunt will win a premium swag pack with an exclusive LEGO product.
Alongside the epic diorama of the show floor, LEGO fans can check out new product reveals, including the new LEGO Game Boy, new LEGO Wicked sets, the LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum, and Stranger Things LEGO BrickHeadz.
The LEGO Game Boy is a 421-piece set that is a near 1:1 replica of the OG Nintendo Game Boy. The set features the Game Pak slot and comes with interchangeable, brick-built The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Land. Fans can also display their LEGO Game Boy model with the classic Nintendo start screen or a screen from either of the Game Paks.
The LEGO Group is also bringing six new LEGO Wicked sets, which are set to come out ahead of Wicked: For Good, which comes out later this year. The sets include LEGO Emerald City Wall Art, LEGO Emerald City & Kiamo Ko Castle, LEGO Elphaba’s Retreat, LEGO Glinda’s Wedding Day, LEGO Glinda & Elphaba Visit Munchkinland, and LEGO BrickHeadz Elphaba & Glinda. These sets will be available starting Sept. 1.
\Fans can also go crazy over the LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum, a set featuring almost 3,000 pieces and coming with 16 minifigures, including The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Bane, The Joker, The Penguin, Killer Croc, and more. The set is available for preorder now.

Finally, The LEGO Group is teasing a new LEGO BrickHeadz set ahead of the final season of Stranger Things. This set, which is available for preorder now, features four BrickHeadz of Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will.
The LEGO Group isn’t just hanging out at the booth this year. The company is featured on two panels: the LEGO Ninjago Adventure Continues panel, which is today from 2:15-3:15 p.m. PT, and the LEGO Masters: Back Behind the Brick panel, which will be tomorrow, July 25, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. PT.
