Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products joined forces with the International Olympic Committee to launch a program of Olympics-themed products featuring Looney Tunes characters!
“Sports is in the DNA of the Looney Tunes and there is no bigger sports stage than the Olympics,” says Robert Oberschelp, head of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. “The Looney Tunes embody the spirit of the Olympics and exemplify teamwork, camaraderie, athleticism, and competition making them an ideal licensing partner for the IOC. Together the products collection will engage audiences of all ages in a fun and playful way and hope to inspire the next generation of fans.”
Warner Bros. has also teamed up with eight National Olympic Committees, including the U.S., Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, and Mexico to create country-specific merch along with Paralympic Team merch for the U.S. and Brazil.
Merch from all categories will be included in the drop, including apparel, toys, collectibles, sporting goods, beauty, home goods, and seasonal merch. Licensees involved in the deal include trading pin manufacturer Honav USA, Fanatics, Outer Stuff, Franco, Accessory Innovations, Ferrara Candy Company, and more. You’ll also be able to grab Looney Tunes x Olympics merch at WB Shop.
The Looney Tunes merch will roll out soon and continue through 2026 for the Winter Olympics in Italy. No matter what country you’re rooting for during this year’s Olympics, we can all agree that the Looney Tunes are the No. 1 team in our hearts!
