The Marvel Universe is expanding into unheard territory with an exclusive lineup of podcasts for SiriusXM and Pandora.
The multi-year deal will include scripted and unscripted series, live event segments, Marvel franchise-specific shows, interview shows, and more listening experiences beginning in 2020. SiriusXM and Pandora subscribers and listeners will also be granted first access to additional Marvel podcasts before they reach other platforms.
First up: Four new scripted series each centered around Marvel greats Wolverine, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Star-Lord, plus a fifth series in which all four team up — which begs the question: how does one camp out for a podcast premiere?
This is SiriusXM and Marvel Entertainment’s second collaboration following a Marvel-exclusive music station on Pandora and channel on SiriusXM celebrating 80 years of Marvel as well as the 1000th issue of Marvel Comics.
The podcasts will be available on the Pandora mobile app for free and subscription-tiered Pandora users as well as for SiriusXM subscribers on the go and at home.
