The latest addition to Mezco Toyz‘s One:12 Collective is Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight.
A fan favorite from Marvel Comics, Spector has a pretty grim origin story. He is killed in the desert by terrorists, and then locals take him to a statue of the moon god, Khonshu, who brings him back from the dead (Jon Snow style). Spector takes a cloak from the statue and becomes Moon Knight — a vigilante who works in Khonshu’s name.
The new, super-detailed figure features Moon Knight in that cloak — with two interchangeable hood styles — and a fitted suit featuring a 3D crescent insignia. The figure also comes with a second, swappable head: an unmasked Marc Spector.
The figure’s other accessories are mostly weapons, including a crescent blade, nunchucks, and a grappling hook baton, and it comes with a display base and post.
Moon Knight is available for preorder now (U.S. only) at $80 and is expected to ship in November.
So far, there hasn’t been a live-action depiction of this hero. However, James Gunn and Kevin Feige have both expressed interest in seeing the character join the MCU at some point. So, fingers crossed for phase four!
