MGA's MiniVerse Real Music

It’s time to do some crate digging in micro-size.

MGA Entertainment is heading into festival season with Miniverse Real Music, a new line of collectibles that puts fully playable mini vinyl records and a working miniature turntable into fans’ hands. You can fuel your music fandom with something you can display, wear, and actually play.

Thanks to a deal with Universal Music Group’s Bravado, the lineup features real tracks from major artists across genres, including Blink-182, Britney Spears, Public Enemy, The Beach Boys, Def Leppard, Amy Winehouse, Imagine Dragons, Elton John, and Bob Marley. Each blind package ($11.99)  includes four mini vinyl records, a wearable keychain attachment, and a stackable crate for display.

MGA’s Miniverse Real Music Record Player ($21.99) is a functioning mini turntable with speakers and retro styling, designed to play the records straight out of the box. Each set includes a mini vinyl featuring a classical rock remix of Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5,” compatible with the full collection.

Preorders for the vinyls and record player open April 9, at 1 p.m. PT — timed with this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, where MGA will host an activation — with products expected to ship in June.

Anyone remember HitClips?
