Your Favorite Warner Bros. Fandoms Are Coming to Netflix

If you’re a Netflix member, your streaming options are about to get a whole lot bigger. Netflix is going to acquire Warner Bros., as well as its film and television studios HBO Max and HBO, between 2026 and 2027.

The struggle to find something to watch will disappear as the new agreement brings Warner Bros.’ stories to the popular streaming service. This means fans can find even more shows and movies on Netflix, such as The Big Bang Theory, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, The Wizard of Oz, and the DC Universe.

Binge-watchers can also expect new experiences and changes within the streaming service. By incorporating HBO and HBO Max programming, Netflix members will have more options and access to content. Viewers can also expect Netflix to create original content and find opportunities to tell new stories by working with beloved franchises. Outside of streaming, Netflix will continue Warner Bros.’ current entertainment operations, which means fans can still expect theatrical releases for films.
