The new Avengers: Endgame spot premiered moments after the Super Bowl officially started at 6:30 p.m.
The spot was much shorter than the first trailer, which premiered in December, clocking in at only 30 seconds. The video starts with shots of a deserted world, then shows a sign reading “Where do we go, now that they’re gone,” alluding to society grappling with a post-Decimation existence.
There is also a simple, two-sentence voice-over from Captain America (Chris Evans), who says “Some people move on. But not us.” This leads into the most exciting part of the trailer: All of the remaining Avengers—Cap, Black Widow, War Machine, Thor, Bruce Banner, Rocket, Nebula, Hawkeye, and Ant-Man—are suiting up and teaming up. The spot ends with the group walking together, presumably (and hopefully) off to best Thanos once and for all.
There’s not a lot of plot reveal happening here, but it’s exciting to watch and will make you even more impatient for April.
