It appears the iconic, tumultuous Friends couple are giving things another go (again) as New Zealand Mint welcomes Rachel and Ross to its extensive collection of Chibi Coins. The legal tender collectible coins, made from pure silver, display iconic pop culture characters in stylized Chibi art.
Shaped and colored to resemble their appearances in the series, the 1-ounce Ross Geller coin wears a red flannel and tan khakis, while the Rachel Green coin dons her Central Perk uniform. The coins are packaged in a Friends branded case that includes a large window for display. Every coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on its backside, confirming it as legal tender. Fans can also expect to unpack a certificate of authenticity and the coin’s unique serial number.
