Since COVID-19 claimed events such as E3 and Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) this year, many companies are going virtual for their new reveals (see: The Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite @ Home).

As part of IGN’s Summer of Gaming, Tastemakers unveiled some new additions to the Arcade1Up collection of in-home arcade cabinets. The new, 3/4-scale machines include some fan-requested titles, another entry into the upcoming Arcade1Up Pinball series, and the first-ever, light-gun-enabled Arcade1Up cabinet.

The new reveals include:

  • Ms. Pac-Man including Galaxian, Pacmania, and Pac-Man Plus;
  • X-Men vs. Street Fighter including Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom, and X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse;
  • Big Buck Hunter Pro including Big Buck Hunter Pro Open Season, Big Buck World, Big Buck Safari, and Big Buck Safari Outback;
  • and Arcade1Up Marvel Pinball featuring 10 tables by Zen Studios, haptic feedback, and a faux coin door with controls!

All of the new cabinets will be available this fall for the upcoming holiday season. Preorders begin in the weeks ahead.
