The MCU is always expanding, and now so is the MVU — The Marvel Villainous Universe!
The first Marvel-inspired version of Ravensburger’s popular Disney Villainous board game line (Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power) debuted last year. In that game, players took on the role of Thanos, Hela, Ultron, Killmonger, or Taskmaster, using strategy to defeat Marvel heroes and complete each villain’s specific objective.
Now, there are about to be three new supervillains in the mix, thanks to an upcoming expansion called Marvel Villainous: Mischief & Malice. The title is more than appropriate, considering that fan-favorite Asgardian God of Mischief Loki is on the box cover.
In the expansion, players can take on the identities and objectives of Loki, Madame Masque (an Iron Man foe), or M.O.D.O.K. (the Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing). As with previous Villainous titles, the game comes with intricate game pieces shaped like the villains, but those have not been revealed yet for this title.
Mischief & Malice will be available starting on Aug. 1 at major retailers for $24.99. It is playable as a standalone game, or can be mixed and matched with Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power.
