Black Panther previously made history for Marvel Studios as the first superhero film up for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. While the milestone film didn’t take home the biggest honor of the hostless night, it still made history, nabbing three awards.

While Sony Picture’s Marvel film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse took home the award for animated feature-length film, Black Panther struck gold for the film’s achievement in Costume Design, Production Design, and Original Score. Such awards made history for the film studio as these BP wins mark the first time a Marvel Studios film won an Academy Award in its MCU tenure. The winners for BP’s production awards, Ruth Carter and Hannah Beachler, make history themselves as the first African-American women to win for Costume and Production Design.

Other wins included Rami Malek, Lady Gaga, Olivia Colman, and Regina King, all taking home their first statues.

Keep reading for a complete list of all the award-winning Oscar performances — and nominees — from Hollywood’s biggest night for cinema.
