Looking for a way to stomp into Halloween in style?

Well, Super7 and Saucony are resurrecting their Universal Monsters-themed shoes with a new, ghastly lineup. Joining the ranks of Dracula, the Metaluna Mutant, and Wolf Man (from the 2018 Comic-Con International: San Diego 2018 collection) are sneakers inspired by Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and The Mummy.

Each shoe style honors its respective horror film. For instance, the Creature from the Back Lagoon sneakers look like they stepped right out of the depths of the Amazonian jungle, complete with a scaly, textured material on the toe box and heel cup. The green color blocking and red laces also pay homage to the Creature’s color scheme.

The Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein sneakers are more than the sum of their stitched-up parts. Horror fans can step into the beyond with a color-blocked grey-and-green style stitched to a black midsole, embodying Frankenstein’s monster in all his gothic glory. Or, fans can switch it up with the Bride of Frankenstein style (pictured above). It looks similar to the Frankenstein shoe, but with purple accents and an homage to the bride’s signature hairstyle stitched onto the heel cup. They also feature an electro-shock twist: glow-in-the-dark laces and midsoles that will have fans saying, “My feet are aliveeee!”

Rounding out the collection are The Mummy shoes, which — like their monstrous footwear companions — come equipped with accents and features inspired by the titular monster, from a bandage-like fabric to a white-and-gray color palette.

Each shoe in this collection features its respective movie logo on the tongue, “monster” in Japanese embroidered on the heel tab, and a Super7 x Saucony custom sock liner. The shoe sizes range from U.S. men’s 6-12 and women’s 7.5-13.5. Each pair of shoes will cost $100 and comes packaged in a themed box.

To enjoy this collection in all its monstrous madness, head over to super7.com and saucony.com on May 21 at noon PT when the collection officially launches!
