This morning, Nintendo hosted a 30-minute Nintendo Direct Mini presentation. (Apparently, those are a thing now, but we aren’t complaining.) While it was “mini” in name, the video presentation was packed with exciting updates and news for the Nintendo Switch systems.

One major highlight was the news that a variety of 2K games are heading to the Nintendo Switch on May 29, including XCOM 2 Collection, the Borderlands Legendary Collection, and the BioShock series.

Nintendo and Pokémon also offered up new info for the upcoming Sword and Shield expansion passes. These passes will expand the Galar Region to include the Isle of Armor and the frozen Crown Tundra. Trainers can also gather and train at a new dojo in the Isle of Armor, where they will receive the Legendary Pokémon Kubfu from the dojo master, Mustard. Through training with Kubfu, players will get permission to challenge the Towers of Two Fists. The first portion of the expansion pass is set to drop by the end of June. However, as Nintendo noted at the beginning of its presentation, all game release dates are subject to change due to COVID-19.

There is SO much more info from this Direct, including a Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order expansion pass, a free Ring Fit Adventure update, and some new games launching as soon as today.
