There’s no crying in baseball — but there are unicorns!

Baseball fans can combine their love of the sport and their obsession with unicorns, thanks to the newest selection of Unicornos collectibles from tokidoki. Tokidoki, which translates to “sometimes” in Japanese, is a lifestyle brand that offers collectibles, bags, accessories, stickers, and more. Co-founded by Italian artist Simone Legno, the company has partnered with brands such as Hello Kitty, Marvel, Sephora, and now the MLB

The Unicornos is an ongoing line of unicorn collectibles by tokidoki, who have a backstory: They were former ponies who wandered into a waterfall, transformed into unicorns, and found a hidden magical kingdom. The new MLB x Unicornos collection takes those mystical, 2.5-inch tall unicorns and decorates them in the colors and imagery of popular baseball teams. The Pop Insider spoke to co-founder and designer Legno about the new collaboration, which was on display and on sale at New York Comic Con (NYCC). “The tokidoki Unicornos are actually MLB fans who wear their favorite team colors and fly to each Stadium,” Legno says. “They love to support their favorite teams by wearing their team’s logo and color.”

Packed with fun details — such as a space helment for the Houston Astros Unicornos and a Statue of Liberty crown on the Mets and Yankee Unicornos — each Unicorno reflects the city and sports team it represents. “I always add some elements into my designs from each team’s city and their team logo that is recognizable by everyone,” Legno explains.

The MLB Unicornos bring a bit of magic to the sports collectibles space, with 30 MLB unicorns available to shop at the link below. Tokidoki looks forward to expanding its offerings to include more sports teams in the future.
