Dune: Awakening is an upcoming open-world MMORPG published by Funcom in which players must find their place in the universe. Starting on Arrakis eight years after the events of the first Dune book and movie, players create their character through looks, abilities, and skills taught by the Bene Gesserit and Mentats. As you meet characters from the movies and the books, you will find allies and create enemies as you grow in power. Some things in Dune: Awakening are different from the books and movies, so you may be surprised at what you’ll encounter.

The world of Dune: Awakening is seriously expansive. You can explore the dunes of Arrakis, dodge sandworms and bandits, fly Ornithopters over the harsh landscape, maintain your Stillsuit, and more.
As players gain more power on Arrakis, they can battle with other players, trade spice, and ally with the Great Houses to take control of the planet. You may face off against many enemies, but you can still work together with friends and allies to create fortresses and strongholds. You can also craft weapons, armor, vehicles, tools, modifications, and more as you up your crafting skill level.
