Get ready, U.S. trainers — the newest season of the Pokémon animated series is heading to Netflix.
The first 12 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, the 23rd season, will be available to stream on June 12, with additional episodes coming to the streaming site each quarter.
This new season will follow trainer Ash Ketchum as he travels the world with his partner Pikachu. The pair attend the opening of the Cerise Laboratory, a facility dedicated to exploring the mysteries of Pokémon in every region. There, Ash meets a Goh — another young Pokémon enthusiast — and both become official research fellows, setting off on an adventure together.

To help pass the time until June 12, there is already some Pokémon content for fans to enjoy on Netflix, including the new movie Pokémon: MewTwo Strikes Back — Evolution and multiple seasons of Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon.
