Pokémon fans and aspiring trainers finally have a first look at the upcoming Pokémon Masters mobile game, from The Pokémon Company and DeNA Co.
The app, which is compatible with Android and iOS devices, is a real-time strategy and battling game playable in two modes: cooperative and three-on-three real-time battling.
In co-op, three players from around the world team up against AI opponents. The team has to work together to unleash the unity attack — a special attack from all three Pokémon/trainer pairs — to defeat their competitors. When players join the three-on-three real-time battling system, trainers work together with their Pokémon partners to use a powerful sync (Pokémon/trainer pair) move against their opponents.
Pokémon Masters is set to release this summer. Fans can stay tuned for an official launch date by following the mobile game’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channel for more news on the app.
