Summer 2020 • Issue No. 7

It’s been a minute, but we’re back!
Without any further ado, we present to you, Issue No. 7 of the Pop Insider!
While we had high hopes that this issue would be coming to you from the show floor at San Diego Comic Con, instead, we’re bringing your quarterly dose of pop culture goodness via the World Wide Web.
Fandom is changing in major ways due to COVID-19. In this issue, we lay out everything you need to know about how the pandemic is affecting the geek community, from canceled cons to delayed movie releases. Plus, you’ll find the hottest face masks featuring your favorite characters, the latest must-have merch you can buy online, and summer lewks that never go out of style.
2020 has been challenging in so many ways, but we are grateful to you, dear readers, for sticking with us and continuing to let us fuel your fandom. This year has shed new light on just how important community really is. And even though we are far apart, even though you are going to be reading this magazine at home instead of while sitting on the floor waiting for your next panel to start, the geek community is still strong. We’re resilient. And we will be back faster than Iron Man can snap his fingers.
Now, allow us to highlight for you some of our favorite features in this issue — written, edited, and published from our own couches in sweatpants and really old Star Wars T-shirts. We hope that it brings you some joy, and we hope that you, your families, and your loved ones are well. We are counting down the days until we can see you again — whenever that may be.
