Egg. Bacon. American cheese. Soft, toasted, buttered roll. Just a dash of hot sauce. Put these ingredients together and you’ll be ready to take on all of your enemies.

Bruno Oliver, the actor who plays the bodega owner Sal in Birds of Prey, recently recreated the sandwich that Harley Quinn fought (and almost died) for in one of the most iconic scenes of the film.

After spending her last dollar on the perfect sandwich, Quinn realizes she’s an open target because of her breakup with the Joker, and she must run away while also protecting her beloved breakfast. Unfortunately, her bacon, egg, and cheese sammie met a heartbreaking ending in a slow-motion, cinematic masterpiece that made all New Yorkers shed a tear.

To cheer people up at a time when most of us are at home, Oliver recreates the magic and teaches us how, too. The ingredients are the same as Harley says, but Oliver advises ciabatta as the best bread for the job. Whether you want to use a stray Armenian arm hair or 6-month-old cheese is a personal preference. Check out the video below.

“I really didn’t understand the place the egg sandwich had in the movie until I saw it,” Oliver tells Variety. After watching the film and reading fan theories, he says he’s certain the sandwich played a big part in Harley Quinn’s redemption story. Now it can be a part of ours, too.
