In case you’ve never heard the word intaglio before, it is an ancient technique that stems from the Italian word for “engrave.” In jewelry, an intaglio typically features a shape cut into the surface of a gemstone or metal. The newest collection from RockLove Jewelry embraces this style, combining the elegant technique with imagery evoking the equally elegant Disney Princesses.

The Disney x RockLove Intaglio Collection launched late last week with three styles, each available in both sterling silver and 14K yellow-gold overlay.

The necklaces are inspired by Belle, Cinderella, and Snow White. Each pendant features a thick, white quartz crystal that encases an icon representing each princess: the enchanted rose for Belle, Cinderella’s glass slipper, and the Evil Queen’s dagger and heart emblem for Snow White.

The frame surrounding each crystal also carries meaning for the respective princesses. The enchanted rose is within its domed container, Cinderella’s slipper is within a clock, and the Evil Queen’s emblem is within her iconic Magic Mirror.

All three of these necklaces are available to purchase now from Each comes in a boutique box, featuring the limited-edition Disney Ultimate Princess Celebration logo.
