Everyone is anticipating the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home next week, including star Samuel L. Jackson.
He’s reprising his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. Colonel Nick Fury in the movie, and obviously, he knows his character’s wardrobe to a T. I mean, he wears it on set all the flipping time!
So — of course — anything slightly off would stand out to Jackson if he saw it. For one unlucky marketing team, he noticed exactly that, and he’s definitely furious.
Jackson shared a Reddit post yesterday in disbelief at a serious error: In the photo below, the Spider-Man: Far From Home poster on the left has Fury’s signature eyepatch Photoshopped onto his right eye instead of the left.

Jackson is the last person who you’d want to see this booboo, and someone at Sony Pictures is going to be in a LOT of trouble. All I know is: I didn’t do it!
Sony’s Spider-Man sequel follows Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) as a high school teen from New York as he takes on new villains following the war that went down in Avengers: Endgame.
The movie also stars, Zendaya (Michelle Jones), Angourie Rice (Betty), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan) Jake Gyllenhaal (Quentin Beck/ Mysterio), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), and Marisa Tomei (May Parker).
Spider-Man: Far From Home web-slings into theaters on July 2.
