What’s even more exciting than an actual Avengers movie? Concept art, duh.
Sean Hargreaves, concept artist for Avengers: Infinity War, is giving fans a glimpse of his breathtaking concept art for the movie, originally featured on Comic Book Movie. The film dealt heavily with its locations and landscape shots, and the provided images feature Wakanda, New York, and Vormir. It’s usually easy to tell a number of differences in what is depicted in concept art and what was actually displayed on-screen, Hargreaves’ art is strikingly similar to the final product.
If you were massively distracted by Cap’s all-black costume in Infinity War, you’re not alone. but that was one of the biggest changes from the art to the final product. The concept art instead shows his classic look instead of the battle version from the movie. The images haven’t been dated, but that small detail could be an indicator that the concept images might be older than we’d expect. This project has been in the works forever, so it’s entirely possible the concept art was created years ago. Casually trashing all of my “art.”
