Sideshow — one of the biggest names in high-end collectibles — hasn’t seen a convention showfloor in more than two years. But the retailer-slash-manufacturer is heading to Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) next month for its return to in-person events.
But that’s not all. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sideshow has offered multiple iterations of Sideshow Con, an online event combining livestreamed content, games, virtual reality, and more to show fans the latest and greatest from Sideshow. And that virtual component isn’t going anywhere, either!
Sideshow Con will return first, running for a week from July 11-20. During this week, the company will share first looks at new products, along with giveaways, special offers, and more. Fans can preregister for the event now at the Sideshow Con events page. Registration is free and gives fans access to $10 in Sideshow Rewards, limited-time discounts, priority access to order summer exclusives, and more.
Then, from July 20-24, Sideshow will return to SDCC (Booth No. 1929) for the first time since 2019. In-person attendees can visit the booth to see a selection of statues, figures, fine art prints, and more.
A variety of Sideshow’s partners will also have a presence at the booth, including Hot Toys, Tweeterhead, Insight Editions, Iron Studios, Prime 1 Studio, PureArts, Infinite Statue, and EXO-6.
