While Spider-Man did turn into a pile of a dust this summer, Marvel fans can take solace that he will be getting a second movie in 2019. How exactly Marvel will orchestrate his return is still unknown, but the fact that Happy is back is not.
Recently, a Spider-Man: Far From Home set video from London surfaced on Reddit and appears to show a scene involving Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan talking with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill. While the set is far away, it’s just enough to get Marvel fans’ curiosity piqued.
Happy Hogan fans might recall last seeing the character in Spider-Man: Homecoming, when he thanked Peter Parker for stopping The Vulture before escorting him to the new Avengers facility for a meeting with Tony Stark.
Unfortunately, we still know little about the newest Spider-Man installment, except that our friendly neighborhood superhero will be squaring off against Mysterio, who Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly playing (I am ALL for that, by the way). Far From Home will also bring back a slew of cast members, including Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Battalion, and more, and will welcome new additions including J.B. Smoove, Numan Acar, Oli Hill, and Remy Hii.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released in theaters on July 5, 2019
