Stern Pinball is joining forces with Hasbro to roll out with a new Transformers pinball game.
In Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye, players team up with the Autobots to stop Megatron and the Decepticons from stealing Earth’s energy, conquering Cybertron, and taking control of the universe. Players can store Energon Cubes to power up, team up with the Dinobots, collect Transformers Tech Spec cards, and more, inspired by the 1984 Transformers animated TV series.
The game also includes a special mode featuring the song “The Touch” by Stan Bush, custom call-outs from Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and Frank Welker (Megatron and Soundwave), and original music from Knights of Unicron to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie.

Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye is available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models. Some highlights to the game include the fully animatronic Megatron robot with an articulated fusion cannon that rotates and fires pinballs back at players, Soundwave’s cassette deck that locks pinballs before launching them, a custom-sculpted Optimus Prime robot bash toy, and more.
The game features Stern’s Insider Connected system, and fans can earn Cyber Coins to unlock exclusive challenge modes. The machine also has a special challenge mode called “Prime Training,” where the Autobots train players in the art of pinball, and two players can compete simultaneously in real time.
The Limited Edition model is limited to 750 games and includes the updated Expression Lighting System and Speaker Expression Lighting System with Transformers-themed game effects, a full-color mirrored backglass, high-def cabinet decals, exclusive custom pinball armor, a custom designer-autographed bottom arch, an upgraded audio system, and more exclusive features.
