To celebrate Superman Day (April 18), fans of The Man of Steel can soon check out an immersive experience that’s truly out of this world.
Hosted by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and DC Studios, the experience will take fans through classic locations in the Superman universe, like the Fortress of Solitude, the Kent Farm, and the city of Metropolis. Starting April 18, guests will head to Stage 5 on the iconic Warner Bros. Studios lot in Burbank, CA, starting in the Fortress of Solitude, to meet with Superman and gain some Kryptonian powers. From there, they’ll take to the skies and visit several locations, like the Kent Farm for a quick training session with Krypto. With all your training and newfound powers, it’s time to jump into the action-packed final battle, helping Superman defeat Darkseid’s invasion and protect planet Earth.
Throughout the experience, participants will earn points and receive a final score to foster friendly competition. While in the experience’s central hub, fans will also find photo ops, themed snacks and beverages, interactive mini-games like playing catch with Krypto, and the activation of the Phantom Zone Projector through a two-player puzzle game. You might even spot Superman’s robot pal, Gary (Robot #4), in animatronic form.
For those looking for exclusive merch, there will be a Daily Planet-themed gift shop at the experience for all your merch needs. An exclusive comic book based on the experience will be available to purchase on-site, written by Josh Trujillo and featuring cover art by Bernard Chang. The experience will last about an hour and will run from Thursday to Monday, skipping Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 12-8 p.m.
Tickets are now available to purchase, so it’s time to act fast and grab them (thankfully, you won’t have to leap tall buildings in a single bound). Visit supermanexperience.com for more details and to purchase tickets, and wbstudiotour.com for ticket bundles and promotional offers. This experience is a separate ticket from Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood but will be sold as an “add-on” to the iconic Studio Tour for those who want the full Warner Bros. experience.
