lois and superman

Yesterday was stuffed with major Arrowverse developments! ICYMI, Ezra Miller made a cameo in last night’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover finale. Plus, the CW announced that its Superman and Lois spin-off series was moved from development and officially ordered to series.

The show is currently in the script stage, with plans to shoot the pilot this spring before upfronts in May. It will follow the iconic super-couple as they navigate the complexities of being working parents. (Saving the world is a full-time job!) Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will star as the titular characters, after appearing in multiple Arrowverse shows, including SupergirlThe Flash, and crossover events.

The Flash showrunner Todd Helbing is set to write and executive produce the series, with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns also executive producing.
