Teletubbies had its start as a live-action British series for children, first released in 1997. The brand has endured since then, with products, new shows, and more featuring the four beloved and colorful characters. Now, WildBrain is making sure the franchise lives on, with upcoming figures, apparel, accessories, and more for adults who grew up loving the show.

The new planned collaborations include deals with the Loyal Subjects for collectible figures, ONCH for a jewelry and accessories collection coming next year, and A Leading Role for costumes and accessories that will launch later this year.

Teletubbies has also aimed to increase brand awareness with a variety of in-person events, including two appearances at RuPaul’s DragCon this year. In the UK, this included an exclusive merchandise collection at the fan event. In the U.S., there was a Teletubbies pop-up experience for DragCon attendees.

WildBrain, like many other pop culture brands, is planning on bringing opportunities for the Teletubbies to the upcoming Licensing Expo this June 13-15 a the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The Pop Insider will also be at the show (booth No. N249), along with our sister publication The Toy Book.
