In celebration of Dungeons & Dragons‘ (D&D) 50th anniversary, all Dungeon Masters and Adventurers are in for a treat: Converse is launching a D&D collection!

The line includes apparel and footwear based on the iconic roleplaying game with imagery and colors from D&D rulebooks, characters, and more, so villains, heroes, and creatures from the past 50 years are honored through the collection. Some pieces are even inspired by Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

There are a few iterations of Chuck ’70s featuring first-edition illustrations and D&D elements that players will recognize from the Dungeon Masters Guide, Monster Manual, and the Players Handbook. The Chuck ’70s also feature molded, faceted stars on the Chuck patch, inspired by the D20. Fans can also look for Chuck Taylor All Star iterations.

One black pair of Converse features the D&D symbol in red with dragon scale etchings on the bottom. Another pair is tri-colored with white, grey, and black covering the shoe. There are also smaller D&D icons throughout the pair, including the text “The Dice Taketh Away.”

A third pair of shoes is black with green accents and characters from the game. Finally, fans can wear fresh kicks that are red, black, and white with different D&D imagery.

All adult footwear in the collection pays homage to the game with a hexagonal, beveled top eyelet, and some sizes even feature the history of the game on the tongue lining. Select pairs also feature a character sheet design on the opposing lining, allowing fans to add personalized player names and stats on the shoes — if they so desire.

Like the game, everything from the collection is immersive. The Chuck 70 shoebox is transformed into Mimic, the creature found in “Monster Manuel” and the D&D film.

In addition to new kicks, fans can find grey and green T-shirts, a crewneck sweatshirt, shorts, and a trucker hat to complete their perfect D&D-inspired ‘fits. One crewneck features orange Dragon imagery with the text “Where there’s fire … there’s treasure” and different dice on the sleeve, while the trucker hat is black, white, and red, and reads “Beware … Your Dungeon Master is Smiling!”

If these pieces aren’t calling to you or your Party, you can customize your own footwear on Converse By You. Through the digital experience, fans can pick from numerous design options, including graphic prints inspired by the game.

The collection will debut at Gary Con XVI on March 21, but it won’t be available to purchase until April 11. Once it’s released, grab a piece online at converse.com or in select retail stores before your next D&D campaign!
