Have you heard the one about the crazed supervillain dressed up as a superhero? Well, it’s more scary than funny.

The Op is bringing one of the creepiest villains from the DC Universe to the tabletop with its new game The Batman Who Laughs Rising.

The cooperative card and dice game challenges players to work together to recruit key superheroes to dominate a host of supervillains. In the game, a passage from the Dark Multiverse opens to allow the most dangerous evildoers to infiltrate Gotham City. Players must try to save the multiverse and do battle with Power, Purpose, Determination, and Justice with four starting heroes: Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Batman, each with their own teams and special abilities. Allies including Harley Quinn, The Flash, and Cyborg are also in on the fun.

The game includes a custom sculpted, full-color figure of The Batman Who Laughs with a fistful of chained Evil Robins.

This new edition based on characters from the Dark Night Metal comic series is the fifth installment of The Op’s cooperative Rising game series, designed for 1-4 players ages 15 and up. You can grab yours for $49.99.
