Earlier this summer, Prospect 100 partnered with ViacomCBS Consumer Products and Nickelodeon to host a design contest for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans between the ages of 16 and 25.
Participants submitted original art inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a panel of art experts and TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman selected one design to appear on a collection of official merchandise. More than 1,000 young artists from 33 nations entered the competition, which the panel narrowed down to 25 semi-finalists. Then, the public got to vote on those 25 designs through the Prospect 100 Instagram page, which determined the top five designs. Finally, Eastman and ViacomCBS representatives selected the winning design.
That winning design was created by Lily Stock, a 21-year-old illustrator from the UK. Her illustration features all four TMNT, Shredder, and Splinter in a vertical design, surrounded by flowing water.
From now through December, fans can visit amazon.com/tmnt to buy T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, phone cases, and Popsockets featuring her winning design. For fans who have a favorite Ninja Turtle, the TMNT x Lily Stock Collection also includes products featuring the individual characters, isolated from Stock’s larger design.
