The Spider-Man spinoff Venom comes out this Friday, Oct. 5 with Tom Hardy in the lead role as the dark and twisty antihero.

In a YouTube interview with ComicsExplained, Hardy revealed that viewers won’t get to see all of his best material.

When asked what his favorite scene to film was, Hardy responded, “They’re scenes that aren’t in this movie. There are like 30, 40 minutes worth of scenes that aren’t in this movie.”

When Venom co-star Riz Ahmed asked, “They’re your favorite ones?” Hardy said, “Yeah, all of them, yeah. They’re mad puppeteering scenes, dark comedy scenes you know what I mean? They just never made it in.”

Ahmed then teases Hardy, saying that maybe he enjoyed filming them but they just didn’t turn out as good as he thought they would.

Maybe the scenes will resurface later on as deleted scenes footage and fans can decide for themselves.
