Fall game nights just got an upgrade.
Hasbro and Winning Moves joined forces to release new, officially licensed versions of classic board games.
Fans can look forward to Risk: Stranger Things Edition, Monopoly: Sonic the Hedgehog Edition, and Monopoly: Hello Kitty Edition.
First to launch was Monopoly: Sonic the Hedgehog Edition, which will cost £34.99 (about $39) and is a resurgence of the speedy hedgehog and timeless game. The game was released in September, with the franchise’s next movie set to be released in December. There will be tokens inspired by Sonic’s universe, including Sonic’s shoe, Tail’s tail, and one of the gold rings.
Furthermore, Risk: Strangers Things Edition will launch this month and retail for £49.99 (around $55). Fans of the series can experience the Upside Down in this new take on this classic strategy game. This special edition of Risk will have fans playing as either evil or good forces, both sharing a common goal of stopping Vecna from reaching the Creel House.
Later this month, Monopoly: Hello Kitty Edition will add some sweetness to game shelves for £34.99 (about $39). This release comes just in time for the famous cat’s 50th anniversary. Themed tokens will include Hello Kitty’s bow and recognizable face.
