Zavvi’s newest collab is 65 million years in the making.
The online retailer has teamed up with UK art illustrator Luke Preece for a new apparel collection inspired by the Jurassic Park franchise. The collection features hand-designed clothing, including graphic T-shirts, sweatshirts, denim jackets, and Akedo trainers.
Preece designed the collection around the terrifying Jurassic Park raptors, specifically the suspenseful kitchen scene from the original Jurassic Park movie when Lex and Tim are being hunted by the vicious dinos. His original velociraptor illustration is available in both blue and orange versions — with an accompanying Jurassic Park logo — on various items in the collection. The collection’s Akedo high-tops also include a special quote printed on the inner side of the shoe: “An adventure 65 million years in in the making…”
Along with new clothing, the collection offers a set of exclusive art prints and a limited-edition DUST! skateboard deck echoing the design of the clothing collection. The skateboard deck is limited to only 240 pieces.
