ABC named Colton Underwood as its new Bachelor this morning on Good Morning America.
Look familiar? You’ll probably recognize Underwood from back-to-back Bachelor shows this year, appearing on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette earlier this year and the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise, still airing on ABC.
“It took all of that to get to where I’m at now and know who I am as a person and know what I want in a life partner,” Underwood told Michael Strahan on GMA.

The drama from his season will not come from the cross-show drawn-out relationship between him and Tia Booth, who Underwood dated before appearing on The Bachelorette and reunited with during Bachelor in Paradise. Last night’s footage showed Underwood breaking up with Booth because he was not “all in.”
Underwood is a former football player and now runs a charity to help kids fight Cystic Fibrosis.
The new season of The Bachelor will premiere in January.
