This Grogu-Inspired Robot Is Your Cargo-Carrying Co-Pilot

This IS the droid you’re looking for! Just in time for May the 4th, Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) is back with its second Star Wars-themed robot — this time inspired by the one and only “Baby Yoda.”

Available now, the Grogu Gitamini reimagines the character’s iconic floating pram as a cutting-edge, cargo-carrying robot. Thanks to smart sensors and cameras, you can load up the bot with your bounty, press a button, and your droid will follow right behind you all on its own — or, as Din Djarin says, “Wherever I go, he goes.” Fans can grab this cosmic companion now at the Disney Store for $2,875. 

Like all droids, the Grogu Gitamini communicates through LED lights and adorable beeps and boops in response to its battery level, pairing status, and even real-time changes in its environment, such as speed, obstacles, and idling. Under the hood, fans will find a bright orange compartment with enough space for 20 pounds of gear, complete with a 3D decal of “Baby Yoda” himself and his Arges frog pal. 

To get the adventure rolling, fans can download the Mygita app to name their droid, check battery status, and launch the bot into action. Its special cameras and sensors allow the robot to navigate its surroundings autonomously, following its leader while smoothly avoiding people, potholes, and other obstacles with PFF’s signature “pedestrian etiquette” technology. It runs for up to seven hours on a single charge and even includes built-in Bluetooth speakers, so you can jam on your journey.
