Rule Over Prythian in ACOTAR Monopoly

Hasbro is adding another edition of bookish Monopoly to your shelves. After dropping Fourth Wing Monopoly in March, the company is adding Monopoly: A Court of Thorns and Roses Edition to its library. 

Just like Fourth Wing Monopoly, ACOTAR Monopoly comes in book-style packaging that opens up to reveal all of the game pieces inside. This edition of the game is inspired by the first three books in the series (sorry to all of my ACOSF girlies). 

In the game, players collect marks to purchase properties from all seven courts and the human realm, including the Archeron Cottage, the House of Wind, Under the Mountain, Tamlin’s Manor, and more. In lieu of railroads, players can purchase iconic methods of transport in ACOTAR, including a Fae Horse, Winnowing, Illyrian Wings, and the Sidra Ferry. 

There are six player tokens to choose from: Illyrian Wings, the Paint Palette, Feyre’s Bow, The Cauldron, Azriel’s Truth-Teller Knife, or the Night Court Mountains. Instead of houses and hotels, players can build Manors or Palaces on their property. As they make their way around the board, they can pull cards from Suriel’s Truths or the Book of Breathings. 

There are two editions of the game. Monopoly: A Court of Thorns and Roses Edition features the red and gold color scheme of the first book in the series. Monopoly: A Court of Thorns and Roses Special Edition features a teal, red, and gold colorway and an exclusive Suriel player token. 

ACOTAR Monopoly is available for preorder now and is expected to ship in September.
