Luke Evans & Josh Gad to Star in Disney+ Series

In what is becoming a tale as old as time, Disney+ is making yet another prequel series (we’re not complaining).

Luke Evans and Josh Gad will reprise their roles as Gaston and LeFou from 2017’s Beauty and the Beast in a still-untitled project, according to Variety. The series is in its early stages, so no word on a plot yet, but it will be a musical.

Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will co-write the series and act as showrunners. The pair previously ran Once Upon a Time on ABC, which featured many fairy tales in one place. Gad will also write for the show.

With so many Disney+ shows being scrapped (where’s my Lizzie McGuire reboot, Disney?), fans could be worried that this one will never hit their screens. But fear not: No one fights like Gaston.
