Calling all horrible people who enjoy the party game Cards Against Humanity. If you can’t get enough of making people uncomfortable and playing the most offensive card game out there, then here’s the perfect job for you.
Cards Against Humanity (CAH), the popular adult card game, is now hiring contributing writers. For $40 per hour, you can write inappropriate jokes to help bring fresh ideas and voices to the game. The position is remote, so you can write all the funny and creative cards while cozy at home in your PJs.
According to the job listing, CAH strongly encourages “applicants from historically marginalized communities to apply, particularly people of color, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.” Also, they are looking for “hot single dads,” which is explicitly stated in the job posting.
To apply, interested applicants should submit their 15 best white cards (punchline) and five best black card (setup) ideas by August 31 on the CAH website. To help, the site offers their best tips to creating punchy, witty, and versatile cards “that don’t blow.”
If this sounds like your dream job, start brainstorming your best ideas for new cards and good luck. Sending you positive vibes that the next card we draw from the deck will be yours.
