Believe it or not, Cosplayers Getting Coffee  (CGC) has been gracing the internet with caffeine and cosplay for two years now! Last weekend, the CGC team went back to New York Comic Con (NYCC) for the third year in a row, producing a special episode that’s packed with geeky goodness.
In this episode, 12 cosplayers sit down to talk about creating their looks, why they love NYCC, what they’re most excited for on Disney+, and more.
Let’s meet these awesome cosplayers, then check out the full episode below!

Things start off with Lis (@lis.wonder), who cosplayed as Diana Prince. Despite cosplaying for only a year, she’s got the Wonder Woman look down pat. (It doesn’t hurt that she is basically a Gal Gadot doppelgänger.)

Lis chats with Mink (@minkthesatyr), whose leather Toothless cosplay is insanely intricate — she stamped each of those scales by hand!

The next pair was all about gaming, with Brian (@b.elliott7174) cosplaying as Scorpion from Mortal Kombat (he kept his face mask on the whole time — talk about dedication).

He chatted with Jairo (@jairogyro), who came as John Marston from the Red Dead video game series.

Daniel (@poormanshughjackman) and Victoria (@veecosplay115) were up next, with Daniel living up to his handle by cosplaying as Logan — or Edward Scissorhands; you choose! — and Victoria cosplaying as Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Katya (@keller_cosplay), enjoyed her first trip to New York cosplaying as World of Warcraft‘s Sylvanas Windrunner — in her very earliest design. Her whole outfit is on point, but especially the eyebrows.

Emma (@nerdybeestudio) joins her in an art-nouveau-style She-Ra cosplay, with floral accents that provide a unique spin on the Princess of Power.

He chatted with Charley (@ijimetemitai), whose Jane Foster/female Thor cosplay was inspired by the Sideshow Collectibles figure. She hand wove her pants because that’s how heroes do it.

For our final pair, we meet Jacob (@rocketprops), whose Hiccup cosplay — complete with sculpted foam armor — took 68 hours to make.

He chatted with Lyndsey (@annieleecosplay), whose “SheHulk Hogan” cosplay was a mashup of She-Hulk and Hulk Hogan!
