You know the lighthearted Teen Titans Go! animated series? Yeah, take everything you know about it and throw it out the window.

DC Universe and Warner Bros. Television released a first look at the upcoming live-action series Titans with a trailer premiere, based on the diverse group of heroes. The show is a much darker version of the motley crew of teen superheroes that fans are used to.

The trailer gives a sneak peek of how all the characters will look like—oh, and did Robin just kill a thug by stepping on his neck? Robin is all types of Kylo Ren levels of angsty, even dropping an f-bomb when someone asks him where Batman is. That’ll tell ’em.

According to Warner Bros TV, the series will follow these young heroes as they come of age and find belonging. Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) and Rachel Roth (Teagan Croft), a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring hell on earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire (Anna Diop) and loveable Beast Boy (Ryan Potter).

While it has a CW show style, Titans will debut on DC Universe, DC’s new streaming subscription service. Warner Bros. Television will also bring “Swamp Thing” and “Doom Patrol” to the service next year, while Warner Bros Animation is developing a slate of animated content for the platform, including “Harley Quinn” and the third season of “Young Justice: Outsiders.”

Fan can pre-order the series now at DC Universe. I’m just gonna leave this here:
