When Tim Burton gets his hands on Dumbo, it’s not as creepy as you’d think. Disney released a new Dumbo trailer yesterday for the live-action movie directed by Burton, and the little flying elephant looks more adorable than ever.
The trailer features Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Finley Hobbins, and Nico Parker. Fans can catch a few more tidbits about the story, including the fact that Dumbo can’t fly without his feather and that the film will have some humor to it, courtesy of Danny DeVito. The movie follows the story of circus owner Max Medici (DeVito) as he enlists former star Holt Farrier (Farrell) and his kids Milly (Parker) and Joe (Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the punchline in an already-struggling circus. The circus makes a comeback when they discover that Dumbo can fly. Entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Keaton) recruits Dumbo for his larger-than-life entertainment venture Dreamland. This trailer shows no signs of it yet, but little does everyone know that Dreamland is full of dark secrets.
The movie hits theaters March 29. Watch the latest trailer below.
